NICK VAN DE GIESEN
N.C.vandeGiesen@tudelft.nl received the Kandidaats B.S. degree and the M.Sc. degree in land and water management from Wageningen Agricultural University, Wageningen, The Netherlands, in 1984 and 1987, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in agricultural and biological engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 1994.
Received her MSc and PhD degrees from Technical University of Catalonia, BarcelonaTECH (UPC). Since 1989, she is a tenured researcher of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at the Institute of Robotics and Industrial Computing (IRI). Since 2007, she is also a member of the Scientific Direction of CETaqua Water technology Centre.
PROF. DIMITRI SOLOMATINE
Received his PhD from the Institute of Systems Analysis (Russian Academy of Sciences) in 1984 and he is with IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (Delft) from 1990; from 2006 he is the head of the Hydroinformatics Chair group. His research interests include hydroinformatics, integration of models and remote sensing data, modelling.
DR. YOSHIHIDE WADA
Is a Senior Research Scholar and Deputy Director of IIASA’s Water (WAT) Program. He is also a senior research associate at the Department of Physical Geography, Faculty of Geosciences, Utrecht University, The Netherlands, an adjunct research scientist at the Center for Climate Systems Research, Columbia University, USA
MARIA DA CONCEIÇÃO MORAIS DE OLIVEIRA CUNHA
María de la Concepción Cunha is Civil Engineer by the University of Coimbra and has a PhD in Applied Natural Sciences by the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). Is currently Chairman Professor of the Department of Engineering of the University of Coimbra.
